About The Event
We’re gathering for a cozy, creativity-filled afternoon centered around Dungeons & Dragons, storytelling, and worldbuilding.
Part of the evening will be dedicated to painting miniatures and terrain, bringing tiny characters and fantasy worlds to life one brushstroke at a time. You're welcome to be meticulous and artistic or delightfully chaotic with a paintbrush.
We’ll also explore character creation, storytelling development, and the strange magic of collaborative imagination. How do you build a compelling character? What makes a story feel alive? How do you improvise when your players inevitably adopt a goblin instead of following the plot?
We’ll also be diving into the art of becoming a Dungeon Master. If you’ve ever wanted to run a game but felt intimidated, this is a gentle place to start. We’ll talk about storytelling, guiding players, creating atmosphere, and learning how to hold a fun and flexible container for adventure.
No experience is necessary!…
