About The Event
Family Story Yoga is where imagination, embodiment, and community tumble together in the most delightful way. This class is designed for families, kids, caregivers, and grown-ups of all kinds, anyone who can participate with kindness, curiosity, and a respectful presence in the space. About half the time, we'll meet in movement, and for the rest, we'll have a chance to socialize and build bonds with other families.
Each session, we take a story and live it through movement. We become tall trees stretching to the sky, brave explorers crawling through hidden passages, gentle animals settling into rest. Yoga shapes become characters, landscapes, and moments of wonder. Breath becomes narration. Our bodies become the ink that writes the tale.
This practice isn’t about perfect poses. It’s about:
Celebrating our bodies exactly as they are
Fostering connection between children, adults, and community members
Building emotional regulation through playful movement and mindful breath
